Welcome To Liverton United Football ClubRe-born in 2008, Youth football at Liverton has become strong again and our coaching team provide fun, friendly and safe football for children from the age of 7 to 13 year olds who are given the opportunity to learn not only football skills but also life skills through the nation's favourite sport. As we progress through the 2011/12 season, our teams are on the lookout for new talent and so anyone interested should get in touch via the details below. Team managers Steve Harris and Brian Payne, along with Chloe Livingstone and Mackenzie Harris, run training sessions on Monday evenings for both boys and girls within the Under 10 & Under 13 age ranges, providing happy, healthy and safe fun for the youngsters. At Under 13 level, our girls are competing in their second season in the Devon Girls Football League, whilst our Under 10's represent the club in the Pioneer Youth League. All of our coaching is based around trying to ensure that the atmosphere and ethos of the youth section is friendly and fun, yet well disciplined. Steve & Mackenzie have completed the Football Association Child Protection and Emergency First Aid courses and with Steve and Mackenzie qualified as a Level One FA certified coaches, our coaching team create a welcoming and secure environment enabling the children to enjoy their football freely. Brian is due to complete his Level One certificate in the near future and Mackenzie has also completed British Sign Language qualifications, meaning she is one of the highest graded female coaches in the South West for deaf footballers. We also ensure that our coaches are all FA CRB checked, and are pleased to have Philippa Hiles as our Child Welfare Officer. Both of our sides are looking for new players, so spread the word and get your friends to get in touch!
